Following a substantial investment, AFI has opened a new training venue near Birmingham. The Midlands Training Centre offers IPAF and PASMA working at height courses, and will provide skills and safety training from early October.
The new centre, at Brickhouse Lane, West Bromwich, is just minutes from the M6 motorway and can provide training for up to 70 delegates at any one time. The centre comprises extensive indoor and outdoor practical training areas and four training rooms.
AFI Chief Operating Officer David McNicholas said that AFI decided to launch the new Midlands Training Centre as a result of the success of the group’s UTN Training Centre in Wakefield.
“Our Wakefield open course centre has been the blueprint for this new centre and for our other open course centres at London East and Liverpool. We have a large and very loyal customer base in the Midlands and we want to ensure that they receive the very best training facilities and services. Our substantial investment in this new centre will mean that it will become a centre of training excellence for AFI.”
The Midlands Training Centre will provide open course training on subjects such as working at height, health & safety, SMSTS and SSSTS site safety, IOSH, NEBOSH, NRSWA and many more specialised areas. They are delivered by directly employed trainers, and AFI’s customer service team ensures that delegates have the same person to talk to form start to successful finish.
To launch the new centre, AFI is offering an introductory “buy one get one free” offer on a number of training courses. Contact Ben Hammill on 07766 928 363 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
