Altius Vendor Assessment wins business from global creative agency Leo Burnett

Global creative agency Leo Burnett has selected UK -based Altius Vendor Assessment as its software partner for monitoring and assessing information security and data compliance.

This prestigious export contract with US headquartered Leo Burnett signals the latest phase in expansion for Altius, a small Derby-based business which provides specialist software, consultancy and assessment services to help companies manage all areas of compliance and supply management.

Leo Burnett is one of the world's largest advertising and marketing services agency networks, with 96 offices in 84 countries and more than 8,500 employees worldwide.

The agency has purchased a licence to use the award winning Altius Exigo compliance software to improve management of information security and data privacy. This is enabling Leo Burnett to reduce risk, ensure compliance and automate management reporting.

Erik Hart, VP Director, Information Security and Infrastructure Solutions at The Leo Burnett Group/Arc Worldwide, said: "Altius has helped us create efficiencies in the way we assess the security and compliance of our suppliers. By utilising the Altius portal we can create automated touch points with our suppliers, as well as generating reporting, as needed, on various data points."

Gary Plant, Managing Director for Altius Vendor Assessment, said: "We are delighted to partner with Leo Burnett and expand our overseas business by collaborating with such an iconic brand. We see huge demand both in domestic and export markets for our compliance software, which can be configured to help companies comply with a raft of regulations, increase supply chain visibility, and improve management reporting."

In the UK, the Altius Vendor Assessment system is used by Morrisons, Selfridges, Airbus, Trust Inns, Arcadia Group, Superdrug and SGP Property and Facilities Management, and many other businesses as a critical element of their supplier management systems.
