RIDI LAUNCHES EXPANDED RANGE

With a focus firmly on LED compatibility, RIDI Lighting has previewed its latest range of architectural luminaires at the Light & Building show in Frankfurt.

The versatile and strikingly modern pendant, VOLAR, is available in one or three lamp T5 variants with a central opal diffuser or parabolic louvre. Options are available for indirect light to be powered by LEDs in either fixed colour or RGB. The transparent acrylic winged panels allow both direct and indirect light distribution, with the option to add push-in side reflectors or colour inserts, to match corporate style. Further customisation is possible via the addition of laser-cut motifs in the backlit end panels.

Alongside the contemporary VOLAR, RIDI showed the minimalist U-LINE and H-LINE mini linear light channels. Both accommodating 12 x 3 Watt LEDs, the 40x38mm U-LINE and 38x80 H-LINE offer discrete and efficient suspended lighting runs, with continuous mounting kits making them perfectly suited to corridors and hallways. Both products offer breakthrough LED lighting for the workspace environment.

Another suspended commercial luminaire, the sleek, dual-bodied ARKTIK gives the impression of a light unit hovering in mid-air. The slender, satinised transparent acrylic luminaire body houses a T5 lamp, while the electronic gear is held within a separate upper aluminium canopy that has a cross-section smaller than the luminaire below. The gear can also be supplied as a remote box, if preferred.
