Texecom Limited, the UK’s largest native manufacturer of intruder alarm systems, today announced the integration of Klaxon Signals Limited into the company. Klaxon is a leading provider of a wide range of audio-visual warning devices serving the fire, security and industrial safety markets.
Both companies are subsidiaries of Halma p.l.c., a FTSE 250 leader in specialist electronic, safety and environmental technologies (LSE:HLMA).
According to Jim Ludwig, Managing Director of Texecom, the merger will enhance the long-term prospects for both businesses. “We’re excited to bring such a ubiquitous brand, and robust product offering into the Texecom family. The merger is effective immediately, with the Klaxon Signals name becoming a brand under the Texecom umbrella. The Klaxon operations will be relocated into the two Texecom facilities in Lancashire, in the northwest of England. Employees and key contacts for both businesses will be retained.
