New Tork Carry Pack saves time and money

A new packaging concept for Tork interfold hand towels is designed to cut costs, save time and make life easier for the cleaner.

SCA Tissue Europe’s new Tork Carry Pack™ is made from strong, clear plastic and is easier to transport, open and store than a traditional corrugated box. And it only uses only a sixth of the amount of material, reducing the volume of waste along with waste disposal costs.

“Cleaners will like the fact that the Tork Carry Pack has comfortable handles allowing them to carry two packs at once,” said SCA Tissue Europe product and market manager Charlotte Branwhite. “But the new packaging will be particularly welcomed by facilities managers who will appreciate the fact that it saves on labour and reduces waste disposal costs.

“The fact that two packs can be carried at once saves valuable time spent ferrying hand towels to the washrooms. And the pack can be opened in a few seconds by peeling back a perforated plastic tab, which removes the need for hunting around for a knife to open a box.”

The bundles of Tork interfold hand towels inside the Tork Carry Pack are tightly compressed which means they take up the minimum amount of space during storage. The fact that the plastic pack is waterproof means it can be stored outside without any risk of damage or contamination to the towels before use.
