Avica Expands Trade Counters

Avica UK Ltd, the fast growing, Watford and Tunbridge Wells based distributor of janitorial supplies, catering and medical products and equipment; has redesigned and doubled the size of both its trade counters in a move to provide an enhanced customer service and greater product displays. The Watford base has added space by acquiring the building next door, and the Tunbridge trade counter has moved downstairs to enable easier access.

In addition, Watford has doubled its sales office area and expanded its warehouse to stock its growing product range. It now has its first meeting and boardroom, an interview room, a large staff rest room with kitchenette, as well as excellent washroom facilities.

Trish Kerfoot, Avica’s General Manager said: “The developments at both sites have given us room to handle our rapidly expanding business, as well as providing space to grow our sales and customer service teams over the coming months.”

The new trade counters have large displays, including the new Jangro Sovereign product range, and since their expansion sales of all products have increased significantly. The trade counters have been welcomed by all customers, in particular carpet cleaners and window cleaners who can view a large range of products when they visit.

Avica provides a next day delivery service to Greater London and the Home Counties on all orders placed by 5pm.

Avica’s very own fleet of vehicles makes the daily deliveries. Uniformed drivers do not simply deliver stock, but will also put it away for customers.
